Founded by Amy Abebe Tsegaye in 2022. Amy Abebe Tsegaye is the owner of Erta Ale Ethiopian Restaurant. Amy is originally from Ethiopia and has more than fifteen (15) years of experience working for HMS/HOST, one of the largest food and beverage service provider companies in the world. She will be saddled with the overall strategic direction and operations management based on her entrepreneurial experience, exceptional business acumen, and extensive restaurant industry knowledge. She will navigate the business successfully by leading the kitchen operations, staff selection, training, and menu development among other responsibilities as well as the supervision and arrangement of other services the company will offer.
Erta Ale Ethiopian Restaurant will build strong brand awareness in St. Paul Area through social media, neighborhood newspapers, and word of mouth, among other offline and online marketing strategies. We will differentiate Erta Ale Ethiopian Restaurant from competitors in the niche market through the wealth of experience years, impeccable customer satisfaction, and simplified, and focused menu options which will be reviewed constantly to give customers a superb variety, ultrachic, and sophisticated environment.

The mission of Erta Ale Ethiopian Restaurant is to create a space where everyone can enjoy the flavors that remind them of home, relax and unwind after a busy day at work and shop for the ingredients that are tough to find in the state.
